Current appeals

In June 2024, Imam Hasan Foundation committed to funding Level 4 of the MEHDI COMMUNITY CENTRE in Ahmedabad. The project consists of 7 levels dedicated to serving the community and those most in need. The project was granted Ijaza for the use of Sehme Imam for the followers of Ayatullah Sistani.

Level 4 – Madressa Centre 

Level 4 will contain 8 classrooms, 4 Meeting rooms, Library and Conference room. The building is dedicated to caring for girls facing severe situations and will have hostel and apartments on levels 5 -6-7 to serve the community. Imam Hasan Foundation funded level 4 AUD$507,000 (US$325,000).

Our commitment was only made possible by your generosity, and we are also thank Br. Maqsudali, Sis. Shamim and Br. Sameer Ami for visiting the site to oversee its progress. We also thank the World Federation for making it possible to participate in this project.

Imam Hasan Foundation strives to contribute towards infrastructure project that make lasting changes to the community and in areas where the community has limited funds and support. In place like Pakistan, India, Lebanon, Africa our Shia community have limited support and the governments do not support our communities nor do they have oil and other resource revenues to support the communities. We continue to recommend that community members should ensure their khums are directed to projects in countries they are from and you can do this simply on our website by entering the country you would like your funds forwarded to. IMAM HASAN FOUNDATION DOES NOT KEEP A SINGLE CENT OF KHUMS OR CHARITABLE FUNDS, it is only the 3% admin fee that is optional when you use our website or APP.

All Khums payments are TAX DEDUCTIBLE and you also receive a receipt directly from Aga’s office or his representatives in Pakistan, India, Lebanon and other places.
