SYDNEY FUNDRAISER FOR LEBANON
Salaam Alaykum,
At least 1.3 million people in Lebanon have been displaced, with many forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Most of those who are fleeing into Syria are women and children, and more than half are children. According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health, more than 3,287 people have been killed and 14,222 people have been wounded.

There is an urgent need to support the 1.2 million people who are homeless and bewilderedly wandering without adequate food, shelter and clothing, we know you are all supporting various charities and sending funds to your families directly, we do not wish to burden you with requests for more donations, but we have no one else to ask but you all, who have always been generous be it for Gaza, Yemen, Pakistan and so many other appeals. All funds raised will be used for purchasing of relief items – Mattresses – food – clothing – medicine. Funds will be distributed across multiple approved charities across Lebanon to ensure areas of loved ones receive some support.
We reach out to you again, we need your help once again and all we can do is pray to Almighty Allah to bless you all for your generosity.
